EcoGlimmer is a new type of cosmetic biodegradable glitter, intended for decorative use on face, body and hair, and for crafting. It is made from cellulose, a renewable, natural fiber from the eucalyptus and other plants. Its environmental impact is minimal, because once it enters a natural environment such as a field or waste water, microbes will consume the biodegradable content, turning it into carbon dioxide, water and biomass. Very little inert material is left behind. Our hex shaped glitters are 92% biodegradable and our stars are 85% biodegradable. This is different from traditional glitters and most cosmetic glitters, which are 100% micro-plastics and therefore take a very long time to break down. EcoGlimmer is vegan, contains no harmful chemicals, and contains ingredients either approved for cosmetic use on skin & hair, or already broadly used in cosmetics or food.

INFORMATION YOU NEED TO USE OUR PRODUCT SAFELY:
TO APPLY TO SKIN AND BODY: To apply ecoGlimmer Biodegradable Cosmetic Glitters, simply dab a small amount of un-petroleum jelly, aloe vera or hair gel on skin, spread evenly, then shake, dab or paint glitter over area you want to cover. Our SpritzGlitz sprayers make application easier, more uniform, and with less waste. Although your application may vary, we have found hair gels to have more adhesion and that the un-petroleum jelly product by Alba Botanica works well.
For all ecoGlimmer products, we advise that you do a patch test before your event to make sure products and your technique are compatible and to see how your body reacts.
Remember to keep your ecoGlimmer clean!
Our ecoGlimmer glitters do not contain any preservatives and may pick up contamination from fingers or surfaces. Please use cosmetic applicators, clean brushes, or simply shake glitter to apply.Do not recycle glitter!
FOR ALL ECOGLIMMER PRODUCTS:

` Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
` Discontinue use immediately if rash, irritation, or discomfort develops.
` For external use only.
` Not for use near eyes or on the lips.
